After discovering her love for aviation through a career education class in high school, Morgan Boyd knew aviation maintenance was the path for her. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technical Operations and earned her Airframe and Powerplant certifications.

During her time at WMU, Morgan served as Chapter President of AWAM Chapter 17, where she developed valuable leadership and collaboration skills—experience she is excited to bring to the AWAM Board of Directors.

Following several internships in corporate aviation, she has happily found her place as an Airframe Technician at Duncan Aviation. As a former recipient of AWAM scholarships, Morgan understands firsthand the powerful impact they can have on aspiring and current technicians.

She is deeply passionate about uplifting women in the aviation industry and raising awareness about opportunities in the field. In her free time, she volunteers with the Air Zoo Aerospace Museum, helping restore WWII aircraft.
