What has been your toughest obstacle?

There were not very many females in the aviation maintenance field when I first started my career. It was difficult to find support. That’s why I am so passionate about this organization and encouraging women to pursue Technical Operations as a career choice. This is a fantastic field choice.

Any words of wisdom or advice?

Don’t be afraid to try something new. Some of my greatest learning and personal growth has been through accepting challenging positions. You would be surprised how many transferable skills you have that can be used throughout your career. This group can help encourage you and help you navigate as you look for different opportunities.
