William (Bill) Russo is Director of Technical Operations Training for Frontier Airlines.  He is an accomplished aircraft maintenance technician and educator with more than 35 years of experience working in aviation operations, maintenance, quality, and training, and has an extensive record of success in conceiving and building educational programs through proven competencies in administration, program management, and staff development and empowerment.  He once served on the Board of Directors of the Aviation Technician Education Council (ATEC), contributing to the modernization of the regulations governing aviation maintenance schools, and is currently Treasurer for the Association for Women in Aviation Maintenance (AWAM).  William is a USAF veteran who earned the Bronze Star medal for his service during Operation Enduring Freedom as an MC-130 Crew Chief in the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).  He holds a certification in Effective College Instruction from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), and earned his master’s degree with dual specialization in Aviation Education and Human Factors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
