Scholarship CHECKLIST

Only
complete applications will be accepted for review.
Before
you seal the envelope, make sure to include the following:
- Membership:
You must be an AWAM member. Use your current AWAM Membership
Number or join AWAM now with the enclosed Membership Application.
- Application - A separate AWAM
Scholarship /
Award Application is required for each scholarship/award applied for.
- Education:
- 1. High School - location & dates
- 2. Colleges / Trade Schools - location, dates
- 3. If still in school,
include Grade Point Average, expected date of graduation
- Work Experience:
Employer, Job Description, Dates of Employment
- Honors, Scholastic
Achievement and/or Community Service, Leadership and Extracurricular
Activities.
- Qualifications:
Please list any applicable licenses and certificates.
- Essay: 200 words
or less on your interest in aviation. (Tip: Write essay directed
toward each scholarship.)
- Letters of
Recommendation: At least two letters of recommendation to support
your application are required.
Mail TWO
copies of your application package
to
the AWAM Scholarships address on the bottom of the Scholarship
Application page.
Do
not send to AWAM Headquarters! Be careful in addressing your
envelopes.
All
applications must be postmarked by December 31, 2007.
